For Backpackers Jakarta-Jogja-Bali-Lombok-Jakarta

Ooooh, just spending time for holidays leave Jakarta, crowded and Metropolitan city, from Jakarta-Jogja-Bali-Lombok then back to Jakarta.


For backpacker, the packers has knew everything that needed a long trip, don’t bring more things. Before your departure to backpacker, don’t forget bring small thing that you would need it a long your trips, like sun block, sunglasses, swim glasses, so we don’t need buy it in the trip and wasteful money.

In this site, I just want share cost from Jakarta-Jogja-Bali-Lombok

-Jakarta to Jogjakarta, by executive train around 200 hundreds until 250 hundreds, also by executive bus a half of cost by executive train.
After arrived in Jogjakarta station, around 30 meters, we can find inn with range rate 50 thousand until 200 thousand rupiah, with bath room, shower, here make relax, this place anyone call Kampung Bule. So, don’t be wasted your money for expensive inn. If you want to Malboro, around 5 minutes by walk, and there is an Tourism Office, in this place we can get more information about beautiful place in Jogjakarta. Here, we also can rent motorbike 24 hours, around 50 until 70 thousand rupiah, just put identity card, and specially for tourism from abroad no need license card, but I don’t know for local tourism.

Jakarta-Jogja by train 200 thousand rupiah


-Jogjakarta to Bali,
From Jogja to Bali, we can find travel agency , but wait…don’t be deceived with travel agency, so many brokers here, cost to Bali from Jogja by executive bus without transit in Bromo is around 230 thousand rupiah, and we should be curious, is it executive bus or not?, sometimes the travel agency is not truth about services. We should be intelligent to bargain about cost. The nice trip cross Surabaya. Usually departure start in the morning from Jogja that transit in Bromo, but around 12.30 pm direct to Denpasar. When we are arrive in Denpasar Terminal should be carefully, because so many brokers here, they are persuade us for rent car with high cost, by Bluebird taxi is safer than public transportation, we also can booking Bluebird taxi 1st via phone. From Denpasar terminal to Tourism Office around 15 minutes, in this place we can get more information about beautiful place in Bali. That time I choose Lovina beach because Lovina is not crowded like in Kuta. From Denpasar terminal to Lovina beach around 5 hours, by bus with cost around 20-30 thousand rupiah, but so may driver and brokers here, we should intelligent to bargain, don’t be decived. This public transportation is not good bus, no air conditioner. Hmmm…after we are arrive, our tired finally paid because of beautiful beach, calm waves. Hmmm….bargain anymore here to get inn, in Lovina we can find cheap inn, only 70 thousand rupiah, we can stay here, and in shore with bathroom, shower, include breakfast. And restaurant in this hotel is cheap, start from 8.500 rupiah, like my favorite food, mix rice from Bali only 8.500 rupiah. In Lovina we can swimming, see so many coral, fish, so beautiful beach. Before mid night we walk in shore, hmmm more enjoy and relax with my lovely here.
Then we will continue our trip to Lombok. Start from Lovina by public transportation, and we should be bargain anymore. Don’t be ask to hotel about public transportation, so many people are not truth, from Lovina twice by public transportation to Padangbae, the cost is around 50 thousand rupiah for 1 person, just remember always bargain with driver. Lovina to Padangbae around 5 hours.

Hmmm…Padangbae is beautiful place, so many café here, but the cost stay here is more expensive than in Lovina.

-Bali to Lombok
Bali to Lombok, from Padangbae port to Lombok, by Fery around 35 thousand rupiah, just cross the sea with nice view. This trip around 5 hours. When we arrive in Lombok port, we should just pretend recognize about Lombok, so many brokers here persuade us. We should walk leave Lombok port around 100 meters to find public transportation, the cost only 2000 thousand rupiah for 1 person to Mataram Mall, hmmm…we should bargain anymore with driver. Mataram is central city of lombok. Around 100 meters from Mataram Mall we can find HOMESTAY, HOMESTAY is not different with hotel in Lovina, only around 50-70 thousand rupiah for one night.
In Mataram, we can rent motorbike 24 hours only 50-70 thousand rupiah. By Motorbike we go to Senggigi beach, around 1 hours from Mataram, hmmm a long journey we can see nice view, really beautiful view with hill, mounth.

Bali to Lombok arround 100 thousand rupiah

To Gilitrawangan beach from Senggigi around 2 hours by motorbike, Gilitrawangan is more natural and beautiful than Sengigi, but I should stop this trip, I have to back to Jakarta.

Oooo Jakarta I am back. Lombok, I leave u, and leave my lovely here.
So, not like in Jakarta, in tourism place like in Jogja, Bali, Lombok so many brokers for transportation and hotel services. Don’t be deceived.


And by airplane from Lombok to Jakarta arround 700 thousand rupiah

So, don’t be scare to be backpackers, surroundings city of Indonesia and surroundings world with minimum deposit. And always save important number, bring notebook during trip, no problem without laptop, we can find net café everywhere, the last save our identity, money, and our belonging into small and safety bag.
