After you applied Google Adsense, specially Non Host Account, it means you have Fully Approved for your Google Adsense.
In this case, the Adsense would not straight away show on your website / blog if you didn't embed the HTML Code on your website / blog.
Here below I would like to show to how to make new Ads Code on Google Adsense.
After you log in your your Google Adsense Dashboard ---> choose My Ads ---> choose Add My Unit
REMEMBER --- I recommend you choose Responsive or Reccomend Ads Unit, why?
Recommend or Responsive unit ads will show and adjudge any space on your website / blog. Also they pretty much show quicker and all of the time. See picture below
How about another Vertical or Horizontal Ads unit? Yes, they will show up too, but it would not as often as responsive / recommend Ads unit. Specially when the space on your website / blog are not big enough based on size your ads unit, so Adsense would not show up on your website / wordpress.
So for you, who just about start adding some adsense unit on your website / blog, Responsive / Recommend Unit Ads is right to go.
