How much average living expenses in Australia? Migrant to Australia? I would like to share average cost living in Australia, one of expensive country in this world lol.
- Food & Grocery : food & drink 10$-15$ (average cheap one's) one meals
- Restaurant 2 persons : food & drink easy to spend 50$-150$ lol in Australia
- Beers : around 7$
- Coffee : around 4$-7$
- Bus/ tram : every city or state they can have different prices, but for example in Adelaide 5$-10$ per return ticket bus around city and tram is free around city
- Rent car : 40-50$/ day or just depends the type of the car
- Entertainment : well, if you would watch cricket or football or any sport at stadium cost around 30$-50$/ ticket, and probably you would need extra money for food and drink, movie cinema start from 7$ but average movie cost is 15-20$ per movie per person.
- Cooking at home for 2 persons : I can spend average 600$/ month for grocery and food to cook at home, this is already included tissue, washing powder and etc, but sometimes we have dinner out side on the week end. Cooking different meals every day such chicken, lamb, pork, and etc, maybe vegetarian will cost less.
- Water bill : around 200$-400$/ month just depends because every house bills are different
- Electricity & Gas : around 200$-400$/ month
- Foxtel TV & internet : for all channel tv 250$/ month
- Electrician : cost around 70$/ hour, if you have problem with your electricity connection for example hehe
- Council Rate around 100$-200$/ month just every house and state again is different
- Plumbing problem maybe cost around 70$-200$/ time plumber coming
- Mobile credit : cheapest one's 20$ hehe
- Doctor : call doctor around 100$ minimum because public doctor always que lol, ambulans can cost you a lot money. So better you have health insurance in Australia, and as visitor minimum is 23 bucks / week for single person insurance.
- Rent room or apartment : between 200$ - 600$ per week, just depends which area and how many bed room. 2 Bed rooms apartment or house around 500$-600$/ week in Brisbane and Adelaide, or maybe you can find cheaper for sharing room or sharing house
- Lawn Grass : cost you 15$ - 50$ / one time if you asked someone else to do it
- Salon : Hair cut in Australia cost 20$ -50$ Godness me!
- Car Insurance in Australia : it is not expensive though, just visit RAA website. When you have a car you need to pay RAA road assistance too so when you have problem in middle nowhere easy to call RAA.
- House Insurance cost money too in Australia
- Parking car also cost money in Australia, some places are free but between 15 minutes - 1 hour, some shopping centre free parking only for few hours
- Many thing cost a lot maney in Australia so it is always good as handy man or handy woman hahaha
